Description
Iconic Kartell products appear in a new light with an original matt finish, elegant and trendy. Soft to the touch, the matt and satin surfaces give these great classics a contemporary, refined dimension. A real design icon, the famous Bourgie lamp by Ferruccio Laviani is available in a limited edition adorned in matt white or matt black. It’s a future collector’s item! Pursuing its technological research, Kartell continues to innovate to select new materials that perform increasingly well and are ever more environmentally friendly. The matt version of the Bourgie lamp is made from an innovative ecological plastic material. This new "polycarbonate 2. 0’’ is made from renewable raw materials coming from the paper and cellulose industry. The manufacturing process of the material is ISCC* (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) certified. A real Kartell best seller, Bourgie is a lamp with an unrivalled style in which classicism, richness and tradition combine perfectly with irony and innovation. Its base in the baroque style is made up of three decorated levels which criss-cross and its wide lampshade is made with a pleated effect so as to crate an interplay of a thousand reflections when the lamp is switched on. Thanks to a special hanging system, it is possible to obtain three different heights (68, 73 and 78 cm). Everyone can choose to install the lamp at the height they want then alter it as they like depending on the use they want to make of it. Bourgie can, as such, be turned into a wonderful ornamental lamp, a table lamp or a desk lamp. Due to its versatility and its great expressiveness, you can place it on a console in the lounge, on a night table or even on the ground as a reading lamp.
