Description
The Boulder collection is a series of heavy weight marble decorative pieces. The Boulder bookends elevate books as objects worth preserving, treating shelves as curated architectural spaces. Each piece celebrates the beauty of the stone through simplicity in generous form.
Our Stylist Says
I love the Boulder Bookends for their striking, natural aesthetic that adds an earthy, sculptural element to any bookshelf or desk. Their bold, pared-back design makes them versatile enough to suit both contemporary and more traditional interiors, especially those with a natural or minimalist palette. When styling, consider pairing them with textured materials like wood or linen to enhance their organic feel, or contrasting with sleek metal or glass for a modern edge. Practically, they’re sturdy enough to support a variety of book sizes, and their sculptural form invites interesting visual interplay, making them not just functional but a true design statement.

About Tom Dixon
From Bass Guitar to Design Guru
Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.
By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.
But it wasn't until 2002 that the Tom Dixon brand was established, with its base in London's King's Cross. The brand, known for pioneering lighting, furniture, and accessories, quickly gained international acclaim and is now represented in 90 countries.
Master of Materials
Tom Dixon's genius lies in his ability to reimagine ordinary materials. From the early days, he transformed found objects and industrial materials into art.
Whether it's the allure of copper, the shine of stainless steel, the imperfections in hand-beaten brass, or the timeless nature of stone, Tom Dixon products always have a unique touch.
His signature products, from the Melt pendant inspired by molten glass to the instantly recognizable Beat, S Chair, and Wingback, can be found in museums like the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and MOMA in New York.
More Than Just Products
Tom Dixon's impact isn't limited to individual items. In 2007, he launched Design Research Studio, which has since redefined spaces around the world.
From the Drugstore Brasserie in Paris to reimagining the modern cruise experience for Virgin Voyages, his design agency creates immersive environments.
