Description

Introduce a touch of texture to your living space with our Boucle Cushion featuring a stylish flange edge. Whether placed on your couch or bed, it brings a cosy and chic vibe to your home, ideal for styling in pairs for a symmetrical appearance. This 45x45cm cushion, available in 3 beautiful earthy colours, terracotta, cream, and mushroom, offers both comfort and visual appeal.

Our Stylist Says

This boucle cushion with flange edge in cream is a versatile choice that adds a cosy yet polished touch to any sofa or armchair. I love it for its neutral hue, which makes it easy to mix and match with both bold and muted colour schemes, and the textured fabric brings visual interest without overwhelming the space. It works particularly well in contemporary, Scandinavian, or even boho interiors where layered textures are key. For styling, consider pairing it with other cushions in contrasting textures or colours to create a curated look, and don’t be afraid to mix it with patterned pieces for added depth. Its simple elegance means it can effortlessly update a living room, bedroom, or even a lounge area.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
