Description

Introduce a touch of organic beauty to your home decor with our Textured Ceramic Vase in Taupe. The multi-textured surface adds depth and visual interest, while the soothing white and taupe colour creates a serene and calming ambience. Its versatile size allows for a variety of floral arrangements and can be styled in neutral colour schemes perfectly.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Bottle Shape Ceramic Vase, Taupe for its versatile and understated design. Its neutral tone makes it an easy fit in a range of interiors, from contemporary to Scandi and even more earthy, rustic schemes. The simple silhouette works well as a standalone piece or grouped with other vases for a layered look. Practical styling tips include adding dried flowers or greenery for a low-maintenance, textured touch, or using it as a shelf or console table feature where its shape can really stand out. Its understated elegance ensures it complements rather than competes, making it a reliable piece for elevating your space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
