Description

Embrace your love of the industrial school of design with the Boston Small Bookcase and you’ll wonder why you didn’t add it to your home sooner. The minimalist metal frame and oak panels allow you to celebrate the true meaning of simplicity without sacrificing functionality. When you add the contrast between the dark grey finish and the rich grain of the oak to the mix you have the recipe for a Shelving Unit that makes a feature of anything you choose to display on it.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Boston small bookcase for its minimalist, open-frame design, which makes it versatile across a variety of interiors-from modern to more industrial schemes. Its compact size is perfect for smaller spaces, or as a storage solution in a cosy nook or home office. To style it effectively, consider balancing books with decorative objects like small plants, ceramics, or picture frames to add visual interest without cluttering. Its natural wood finish combined with the sleek frame allows it to blend well with both warm and cool colour palettes, making it a practical yet stylish addition for anyone wanting to maximise shelving without overwhelming the space.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
