Description
Combining many of the monarchical symbols of England such as the Tudor Rose roaring lion and the oak tree Boscobel Oak is a unique take on a traditional damask print. Taking its name from the great oak in Boscobel Wood – which helped Charles II hide from the Roundhead soldiers pursuing him later becoming known as the Royal Oak – it is an ode to the most-regal of English symbols. It is presented in gilded palettes emulating the beautifully aged textures of oxidised metals including Metallic Antique Gold on Black. Part of the Pearwood collection. Application Method: paste the wall and then apply wallpaper. Pattern match: half drop. Vertical repeat: 27cm.
Our Stylist Says
This Boscobel Oak wallpaper is a striking choice that adds a touch of elegance with its metallic antique gold finish. I love how it instantly elevates a space, making it ideal for feature walls in living rooms or bedrooms where it can serve as a focal point. Its rich, dark background paired with gold detailing works well in period-style interiors or contemporary schemes that favour a luxurious feel. To style with this wallpaper, consider pairing with muted, solid colours in furnishings and accessories to let the pattern stand out. Practical tips include ensuring good lighting to highlight the metallic sheen and keeping surrounding decor simple to avoid visual clutter. It’s perfect for adding depth and glamour without overwhelming the room.
