Description
The Bordered Traditional Hallway Runner frames a traditional field with a defined border, the classic runner layout that anchors a hallway neatly between skirting boards. A flat, hard-wearing low pile stands up to constant foot traffic and sits low enough for doors to clear, while the non-slip backing grips hard floors to hold it steady underfoot. Care is simple: vacuum regularly on a low setting and spot clean any spills promptly with a damp cloth. Available in a choice of colours and sizes.
Our Stylist Says
I love this runner for its warm terracotta tone and classic border design, making it a versatile piece that can elevate various hallway styles. It works particularly well in traditional or rustic interiors, but I also like pairing it with more contemporary decor to add a touch of warmth and texture. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral or cream walls and coordinating accessories like cushions or vases in complementary colours. Its length makes it ideal for long, narrow hallways, and layering with a runner in a different texture or pattern can create visual interest. Just remember to secure it properly to prevent slipping and to keep foot traffic moving smoothly.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
