I love how this Klio unit combines open shelving with a tidy cupboard base - the white finish keeps things fresh while the oak-effect doors introduce a touch of warmth. It works brilliantly in Scandi-inspired living rooms, home offices or even a hallway where you need both display space and concealed storage.
For styling, mix books stacked vertically and horizontally, slot in a couple of woven baskets on the lower shelves and balance them with small plants or simple ceramics at eye level. Tuck paperwork or less-attractive bits behind the doors using matching boxes, and leave the very top shelf relatively clear so the whole thing feels light and uncluttered.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
