I’m a fan of the Lexington unit for its light, open-frame geometry - it feels sculptural without overwhelming a room. The pale grey finish works brilliantly in contemporary, Scandi or industrial-inspired spaces and the slim metal lines keep sight-lines clear, making it ideal for living rooms, home offices or even as a subtle room divider.
For styling, alternate books laid flat with upright volumes, introduce a few statement ceramics or sculptural vases, and tuck woven or linen baskets into lower bays to hide everyday clutter. Keep at least a third of each shelf empty to preserve the sense of airiness, and vary object heights to draw the eye across the unit.
