I’m a fan of the Bohol cabinet for its clean lines, neutral white finish and contrasting oak-effect top, which means it’ll slot easily into Scandi, coastal or classic country schemes. Its generous shelving and central cupboard give you both display space and hidden storage, so it works equally well in a dining room for glassware or in a living area to show off books and objets d’art.
Styling tip: cluster items in threes and vary heights - think a set of coffee-table books, a ceramic vase and a small potted plant. If you add a low-profile LED strip under each shelf, it instantly lifts the look and keeps everything well lit. Finally, balance the cabinet by placing taller greenery or an art print to one side rather than crowding both sides evenly.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
