Description

Unusual table lamps can help you to create a unique and personalised tone within any interior. This minimalistic light has a linear shaped infrastructure surrounding a clear globe shaped bulb cover. A black finish gives this square table lamp a versatile look that allows it to fit into a wide range of different decors.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Bodhi table lamp for its sleek, modern aesthetic and versatile black finish, which makes it a great addition to contemporary or minimalist interiors. Its open geometric design adds an interest layer without overwhelming the space, making it suitable for side tables, desks, or shelves. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral-toned accessories or using it to create a focal point in a monochrome setting. It also works well in industrial or urban-inspired schemes, especially when combined with metals and raw textures. To get the most out of the lamp, consider placing a decorative filament or vintage-style bulb inside to enhance its visual appeal and ensure the light softens the overall room ambience.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
