I’ve been using the Njord chairs in sand across several schemes and really appreciate their clean lines and softly channelled upholstery - they lend just enough texture without overwhelming a room. The neutral tone and angular black legs work equally well in Scandi-inspired spaces, contemporary urban flats or even more traditional settings when paired with a warm timber table. For practical styling, I’d anchor them on a low-pile jute or flatweave rug to keep things light and breathable, then introduce a couple of moss-green or slate-blue cushions for contrast. They’re easy to clean (just a gentle wipe-down) and their compact profile means you can tuck them neatly under most tables, making them ideal for both compact dining nooks and larger breakfast bars.
