Description

If you're a fan of the country farmhouse look or shabby chic, the Blythe white wooden day bed is for you! The day bed takes its design from the classic shaker style wooden bed frames and turned into a modern day bed. The size fits a standard UK single mattress, and so the sofa transforms into a bed when you're ready to sleep! The option of a fold-away trundle bed is ideal for guests and offers an additional sleeping space that is kept out of the way by being stored underneath the daybed when not in use. The clever design of the daybed means it is also great for spare rooms, offices and guest rooms ready for when people come to stay.

Our Stylist Says

I love this white oak-effect day bed because of its versatile and clean aesthetic, making it a great centrepiece in both contemporary and traditional interiors. It works especially well in guest rooms or children’s bedrooms where practicality is key, thanks to the pull-out trundle that provides extra sleeping space without taking up additional room. To style it effectively, consider adding layered textiles like textured throws and cushions in neutral or soft colours to create a cosy, inviting look. Pairing it with natural wooden or greenery accents can enhance its fresh, airy vibe while maintaining a minimalist feel. This piece lends itself to a clutter-free, functional space that’s easy to personalise with accessories and bedding styles.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
