Description
A tulipierie intending to impress, the earthenware material is covered with sprawling patterns. At the centre is a cherub, as the day they were born, floating around a sprawl of flowers. It is a depiction of the divine colliding with the natural - of bountiful angels and blooming roses. The design is a tribute to the Delftware shown at the Rijksmuseum - the majestical height of art in Holland.
