Our feathered friend may look a little aloof with his coy glance-over-the-shoulder, but don’t be fooled – his presence is said to bring about laughter and love. Jj remembers her great-grandmother laying the table for the family with beautiful antique ceramics, these wonderful parrots taking pride of place. Chasing the nostalgia, Jj tracked some similar ones down to Christie's but, alas, those pretty Pollys cost quite the pretty penny. Not to be defeated, she had some more commissioned & lovingly hand painted. There’s no need for a cage, these porcelain passerines make themselves comfy at home on an entry console or mantlepiece and enjoy a trip to the dinner table for special occasions.
