Description

Theses stunning hand-woven reversible Water Mill Ikat cushions are made from hand-woven and hand-dyed silk velvet fabric, known in Uzbekistan as Bakhmal. It is a velvet fabric with a silk pile, based on a silk and cotton background. The Ikat technique which is used to create this beautiful fabric produces a distinctive vibrancy of colour and design evident in these cushions. Due to the hand-made techniques used in the creation of our fabrics, there may be slight variations in patterns and colours in the material, which all adds to the unique nature of our cushions. Double faced Silk Velvet Ikat cushion finished with a black piping. Front in hand-woven Silk Velvet, reverse hand-woven Silk Ikat.

Our Stylist Says

I love this cushion for its striking ikat pattern and the luxurious feel of the velvet silk, which adds depth and richness to any space. The reversible feature is practical, allowing you to switch up the look easily-perfect for both contemporary and eclectic interiors. It works especially well in neutral-toned sofas or beds, where it can act as a statement piece, but it's versatile enough to complement more vibrant colour schemes too. A useful styling tip is to pair it with solid-coloured cushions to let the pattern stand out or mix with textured accessories for a layered, curated look. Overall, this cushion will add a touch of global elegance to your living space without feeling overwhelming.
