I’m a fan of this white pedestal table for its clean silhouette and space-saving round top - it slots straight into minimalist, Scandinavian or contemporary settings. Its slim column and base keep sightlines open, so it works equally well as a small dining table in a city flat or a side table in an open-plan living area.
Styling tip: anchor it with a bold rug or runner to define the zone, then keep tabletop clutter to a minimum - a simple ceramic vase or a stack of thin-profile coffee-table books. Pair with slim metal or wooden chairs and introduce natural textures (linen placemats, a woven basket underneath) to stop the all-white look feeling too clinical.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
