Go back to basics with the simple striped design of our Blake Striped runner. Pairing an authentic hand-stitched effect with a simple monochrome palette, Blake embraces simple style. Enjoy modern design, handwoven by rug artisans. The versatile, flatwoven composition of the Blake Striped design is perfect for use in different spaces of the house. Don't forget to buy our handy anti-slip mat,. Here,. Available in a range of sizes. This is a hand-made flatweave rug. When opening, re-roll your rug pile out and leave in a warm room for 24 hours before putting in place, this will help to reduce wrinkles and curling from packing. Turn your rug regularly to ensure even wear and reduce pressure marks from furniture. Do not pull any loose threads, please cut them carefully with scissors to remove. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as this may cause fading of the colour. A small amount of fibre loss is normal on a new rug. Before using any cleaning products on your rug, test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not affect the colour. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean dry white cloth - do not rub as this may stain the fibres. Vacuum your rug regularly to remove everyday dirt, we recommend the use of a suction type vacuum cleaner as a rotating vacuum brush can cause damage to the pile surface. We recommend the use of an anti-slip mat beneath your rug to prevent it from slipping and sliding out of place. Please do not leave babies or young children unsupervised on this rug.
The Blake Stripe Rug in black and white is a versatile piece that works well in both modern and eclectic interiors, adding a graphic, contemporary touch. I love it because its monochrome palette makes it easy to incorporate into various colour schemes, while its pattern brings visual interest without overwhelming the space. It’s suitable for living rooms, studies, or even bedrooms, particularly when layered over neutral or hardwood flooring. Practical styling tips include pairing it with minimalist furniture to let the rug stand out, or adding textured cushions and throws for a cosy, balanced look. Keep in mind, its striking pattern is best showcased when the surrounding decor is kept simple and clean-lined.
