Description
A wider take on the classic tub style, characterised by bold ikat upholstery and a velvet seat. Inspired by our first House at 40 Greek Street in London's Soho, this armchair features ikat upholstery on the back and base of the chair for a pattern statement, contrasted with porcelain velvet. Resting on solid bun feet, it features piped edging for a sleek finish.

I’m a big fan of this tub chair in floral ikat linen because its curved form and subtle natural tone bring pattern without overwhelming a room. It works equally well in a contemporary living room - where its print enlivens clean lines - as in a more relaxed, bohemian scheme layered with rattan, jute and woven throws.
For styling, keep surrounding furniture in plain fabrics or matte woods so the pattern remains the focal point. Pair it with a slim-legged side table and an arching floor lamp to create a cosy reading nook. A neutral cushion or a soft woollen throw adds texture without clashing.
