Our Stylist Says
I love this basket for its bold colour contrast and practical size. The black willow offers a natural, textured feel that works well in both contemporary and more traditional interiors, while the pop of red lining adds a touch of colour without overpowering. It’s perfect for storing household essentials like throws, magazines, or even toiletries, making it as functional as it is stylish. Styling tips include placing it on a shelf or at the foot of a bed for an organised look, or using it as a statement piece in a neutral scheme. The cotton lining also adds a refined touch and a bit of extra protection for delicate items. Overall, it’s a versatile piece that blends practicality with a striking aesthetic.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
