The fish has many symbolical meanings across different cultures: from life itself, to prosperity, curiosity, freedom and strength, courage, patience, and success through perseverance, among many others. The artist has long been fascinated by these beautiful sea creatures, encountered in real life or in art. She wanted to create a playful fish art print series where they could be mixed and matched, and be hung alongside other fish to create a fun graphic set of illustrations with a minimalist, modern style for any wall.
