Our Stylist Says
The black velvet king size bed with winged headboard is a stylish statement piece suited to contemporary and luxe interiors. Its plush velvet finish adds richness and texture, making it a focal point in the bedroom. I love swapping out cushions and throws to change the look-pairing it with metallic accents or marble side tables works beautifully for a modern feel, while soft, neutral bedding creates a more classic vibe. This bed fits well into minimalist spaces for an elegant touch or in more opulent schemes, where its deep colour and winged design bring a cosy yet sophisticated atmosphere. Practical styling tips include keeping bedding simple and crisp to highlight the headboard’s shape and texture, and using wall-mounted lighting to avoid cluttering the space around the bed's dramatic wings.
