Our Stylist Says
I’m a big fan of the Payton chair for its deep, matt-black velvet and neat proportions - it feels both relaxed and refined. It sits comfortably in modern minimalist schemes or more traditional settings that call for a touch of luxe, especially alongside brass or smoked-wood accents. To style it, layer a subtle textured cushion in a warm tone (think rust or ochre) and drape a lightweight wool throw over one arm. Position it in a reading nook with a slender floor lamp, or let it act as a contrast piece against pale walls and timber flooring for an understated, contemporary look.
