Description
French design studio Color Therapis celebrates joy and creativity, drawing on the expertise of quality craftsmanship. Imbued with shimmering colors and patterns, these rugs bring boldness, uniqueness and cheerfulness to our interiors. ColorTherapis rugs reflect designer Lavinia Augeai's taste for prints, mix and match and bright colors. Originally from Romania, Lavinia Augeai creates her own graphics, with obvious references to Fauvism and the painter Matisse, who loved bright colors and defended a true freedom of composition. Orange, red, pink and green are the colorimetric notes juxtaposed in Color. Therapis' work. Lavinia Augeai: ''I'm inspired by a little bit of everything: fashion, Nature, the seasons... The 1970s era is a huge inspiration for me, as are Bauhaus and Memphis styles. ColorTherapis rugs are designed in Paris and then entirely handcrafted by a team of artisans based in the Varanasi region of India. Recognized the world over for their know-how, these experts specialize in tufting, looming and hand-knotting fabrics (wool and cotton). These techniques not only ensure the exceptional quality and longevity of our rugs, but are also particularly well-suited to the different designs of Color Therapis creations.
