This soundwave inspired pattern has a black and ecru colour, which creates a monochrome look that’s perfect for any modern space. The throw is large in size, so is ideal for curling up underneath during those cold winter evenings with a good book or a classic movie. Soundwave inspired pattern; Simple and stylish colour contrast; Soft woven cotton material keeps you warm and cosy.

Our Stylist Says

This throw is a versatile piece that adds both texture and a touch of understated elegance to any living space. I love how the black and ecru combination offers a modern, neutral palette that works well with both contemporary and classic interiors. It’s perfect for layering on a sofa or at the foot of a bed, adding warmth and visual interest without overpowering the room's colour scheme. For styling tips, I suggest pairing it with soft, neutral cushions or throws in complementary shades for a relaxed yet curated look. Its practical size and cosy feel make it ideal for chilly evenings, while its subtle pattern lends itself to effortless styling in a range of interiors from minimalistic to more layered, eclectic schemes.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
