Description
The Stockwell range provides a touch of reclaimed design to any home. It's rustic oak effect finish and sleek black handles create a truly rustic looking range. The Stockwell beds have 2 large spacious drawers that glide quietly open on metal runners. A solid slatted base provides firmer support for this frame and allows air to circulate beneath the mattress. It's simple to achieve a traditional farmhouse feel with items from the Stockwell range. It's a style so classic that it would work as well in a city flat as it would in a cosy cottage. The Stockwell bed is available in a small double, double and King size. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.

I’m a fan of the Stockwell bed for its clean, straight lines and warm oak-effect finish - it slots effortlessly into Scandi-inspired, contemporary or even more traditional schemes. The built-in drawers are a bonus if you need to keep bedding or off-season clothing tucked away, so it works just as well in a compact city flat as it does in a larger bedroom. To style, start with crisp white linen and introduce texture via a chunky knit throw at the foot and a couple of cushions in muted tones - think slate blue or soft terracotta. Pair it with simple metal or whitewashed bedside tables, add warm-glow lamps either side, and introduce a small green plant or two on the headboard shelf to soften the overall look.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
