Description
With a striking button detailed headboard and matching footboard the Marquis bed is the perfect statement piece. The Marquis bed is upholstered in a luxurious grey velvet and features a beautiful tufted detailing headboard. The ottoman base with gas lift arms gives the Marquis a gorgeous style with a practical edge. The gas piston strength on this frame is 600 N and can support mattresses up to the weight of 45 kg. Featuring a sprung slatted base to give natural bounce, this bed adjusts to where pressure is most exerted for greater comfort. Add a touch of elegance to any style bedroom with the Marquis Bed. The maximum mattress weight to be used is 50kg. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress and the recommended maximum mattress height is 320mm.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
