Description

A beautiful elegant storage bed frame which features a stylish deep tufted headboard. Upholstered in a luxurious grey velvet fabric the Marlow bed frame offers a sophisticated twist on a classic traditional look. Making it a perfect addition to any style bedroom. Not only does the Marlow looks great, but also offers two spacious drawers built into the base of the bed. This frame has a sprung slatted base to give natural bounce, adjusting to where pressure is most exerted for greater comfort. The maximum weight load for the 4'6 frame is 300 kg, the 5' frame is 400 kg, and the 6' frame is 450 kg. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress and the recommended maximum mattress height is 305 mm.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Marlow bed in grey because its softly upholstered, button-tufted headboard gives a tailored look without feeling formal. It sits neatly in Scandi-inspired rooms or more contemporary schemes, and the neutral grey works equally well against crisp white walls or deeper accent tones. The built-in drawer at the foot adds useful under-bed storage, so it’s a practical choice for smaller UK bedrooms where every inch counts. To style, keep bedding simple - think muted linens with a couple of textured cushions in contrasting tones - then layer a low-pile rug under the foot of the bed to anchor the space. Pair it with clean-lined wooden bedside tables and wall-mounted reading lights to avoid clutter. Finish with a framed print above the headboard or a small shelf with potted greenery for a modern, lived-in feel.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
