Description

This fantastic bed frame combines practicality with style with its striking rolled headboard and matching foot-end. The platform top ottoman base features gas lift arms which can be fitted to open on either the left or right-hand side of the bedstead giving your customers that extra flexibility. Upholstered in polyester the Castello side ottoman is available in a steel crushed velvet, charcoal or grey fabric. A protective base board is also included. The gas piston strength on this frame is 85 N and can support mattresses up to the weight of 65 kg. The maximum weight load for the 4'6 frame is 300 kg, the 5' frame is 400 kg, and the 6' frame is 450 kg. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress and the recommended maximum mattress height is 200 mm. The mattress needs to be on the bed for the pistons to work.

Our Stylist Says

I love this grey ottoman bed for its blend of practicality and classic style. Its versatile colour works well in both contemporary and traditional interiors, adding a touch of softness without overpowering the space. The deep storage compartment is perfect for decluttering, making it ideal for smaller bedrooms or multifunctional spaces. To style around it, consider using layered textures and neutral tones for bedding, with accent cushions in richer colours for added interest. Pairing it with vintage-inspired or modern furniture can create a balanced look - keeping the room sleek and functional while maintaining a cosy, inviting feel.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
