Description

Luxuriously comfortable with a generously cushioned headboard. The Brompton bed frame is upholstered in a classy midnight blue fabric, this chic and contemporary bed frame is perfect for the modern bedroom. This frame has a sprung slatted base to give natural bounce, adjusting to where pressure is most exerted for greater comfort. The maximum weight load for the 4' frame is 300 kg, the 4'6 frame is 400 kg, and the 5' frame is 450 kg. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress and the recommended maximum mattress height is 305 mm.

Our Stylist Says

The Brompton bed in the blue finish offers a stylish yet versatile choice for various interiors. I love how its tufted headboard brings a touch of classic elegance, making it suitable for both modern and traditional schemes. It works particularly well in contemporary spaces, especially when paired with minimalist bedding and neutral tones to let the colour pop. For a more eclectic vibe, try layering with textured throws or mixing prints. Its compact size makes it ideal for guest rooms or smaller bedrooms, and the bold hue can serve as a focal point or a subtle accent depending on your colour palette. Practical styling tip: keep surrounding furniture simple to allow the bed to shine, and incorporate accents like cushions or artwork that pick up on the blue for a cohesive look.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
