Price History
Description
A contemporary statement design, the Berlin bed features luxury faux leather upholstery complemented by dark wooden feet. The Berlin has a faux leather (PU) upholstery and is available in a choice of two colour options black, or brown. This frame has a sprung slatted base to give natural bounce, adjusting to where pressure is most exerted for greater comfort. The maximum weight load for the 3' frame is 150 kg, all other frames are 200 kg. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress and the recommended maximum mattress height is 250 mm.
Our Stylist Says
I love the black bed frame for its sleek, modern look that instantly grounds a bedroom. The ottoman storage feature is highly practical, making it ideal for smaller spaces or for decluttering bedrooms cluttered with extra bedding or seasonal items. It works well in contemporary or minimalist interiors due to its clean lines and dark finish, but could also add a touch of sophistication in a more industrial or eclectic style. For styling tips, pair it with neutral linens and textured cushions to soften the look, or contrast it with bold colours for a striking effect. Keeping bedside tables simple and décor minimal allows the bed to be a statement piece, while a few well-chosen accessories or throws can add cosy charm.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
