This frame has solid slats ideal for a firmer mattress. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.

I’m a fan of the Bellevue bed in brown for its clean lines and warm wood tone, which suits Scandi, contemporary or even industrial-inspired bedrooms. Its simple frame makes it easy to layer with crisp white linens, a chunky knit throw and a couple of patterned cushions for texture. To style, position low bedside tables either side and add black-metal or brass lamps to echo the floor-to-ceiling window frame. A neutral jute or geometric rug under the foot of the bed will ground the look, while a single muted-tone accent wall behind the headboard keeps the focus on the bed’s natural finish.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
