This frame has solid slats ideal for a firmer mattress. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.

I’m a fan of the Bellevue bed for its clean lines and warm oak-tone finish - it works equally well in Scandi-inspired schemes or more traditional bedrooms looking for a modern twist. Its simple headboard allows you to layer up bedding in different textures and colours without competing with an ornate frame. For styling, keep bedside tables low and uncluttered, then add a pair of wall-mounted lamps to free up surface space. A neutral rug underneath will ground the bed, while pops of muted teal or terracotta in cushions and throws help to lift the overall look. If you need extra storage, slimline boxes slide neatly beneath the rail.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
