Description

Make a grand style statement with this elegant contemporary bed frame. The Balmoral bed is upholstered in a luxurious grey velvet and features a wingback headboard with beautiful tufted detailing. Featuring a sprung slatted base to give natural bounce, this bed adjusts to where pressure is most exerted for greater comfort. Add a touch of elegance to any style bedroom with the Balmoral Bed! The maximum weight load for the 4'6 frame is 300 kg, the 5' frame is 400 kg, and the 6' frame is 450 kg. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress and the recommended maximum mattress height is 305 mm.

Our Stylist Says

The grey Balmoral bed offers a sophisticated and versatile focal point, making it ideal for both modern and traditional interiors. I love how its plush, button-tufted headboard adds a touch of understated luxury, while the neutral grey tone ensures it complements a wide range of colour schemes. For styling, consider pairing with crisp white or soft pastels for a fresh look, or add textured throws and cushions in richer hues for a more cosy, opulent vibe. It works particularly well in contemporary schemes but can also be softened with vintage accessories or wooden furniture for a more eclectic bedroom. Practical tips include keeping bedside tables minimal and leaning on bedding layers to enhance its plush appeal-more about comfort than fuss.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
