Our Stylist Says
I love the BIRCHTREE folding patio sun lounger because it combines practicality with a sleek, modern look. It works particularly well in contemporary outdoor spaces, such as minimalist gardens or modern terraces, but also lends itself to more eclectic settings when paired with natural textures like wood or wicker. Its black finish makes it versatile, allowing it to complement a range of colour schemes and materials. Practical styling tips include combining them with neutral sun umbrellas or patterned cushions to add visual interest and comfort. These loungers fold easily for storage, making them ideal for smaller patios or summer houses, and their adjustable backrest means you can customise the position for maximum relaxation. Overall, they’re a great functional piece that will serve well in both seasonal outdoor spaces and stylish outdoor lounges.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
