I’m a big fan of the Billie mid sleeper in grey because it combines a sleek, neutral finish with clever storage shelves and drawers, so every toy and book has its place. Its soft grey works equally well in Scandi-inspired, minimalist or contemporary kids’ rooms, and it layers beautifully with pops of pastel or brighter accents.
To style it, add woven baskets and labelled boxes underneath for easy tidying, and hang a simple clip-on lamp by the top bunk for bedtime stories. A string of fairy lights or a small garland along the edge gives just the right touch of warmth. Finish with a few soft cushions or a faux-sheepskin rug beneath to create a cosy nook for play and reading.
