I’m a fan of this vertical coat stand because it takes up almost no floor space yet gives you plenty of hooks for coats, scarves and bags. The black-metal frame with dark-wood knobs works equally well in a pared-back Scandi hallway, a loft-style entrance or a smart office reception. For practical styling, hang heavier coats on the lower pegs to keep it steady, and reserve the top hooks for hats or lightweight scarves. You can even loop a string of fairy lights or drape a slim shelf basket over one peg for keys and mail - just avoid overloading it and let the clean lines shine.
