Description

Minimalist security lighting for the exterior of your home, the Bigton 15 Watt LED Outdoor Round Bulkhead Light gives a modern look to your outdoor spaces. This bulkhead features a bright, energy saving illumination, a sleek black finish and a circular design for a stylish yet practical appearance. It also comes with an inbuilt PIR sensor which triggers instantly as soon as movement is detected outside your home, acting as an added security measure to deter unwanted intruders.

Our Stylist Says

I love this bulkhead light for its clean, modern silhouette and practical functionality. Its black finish provides a sleek, understated look that can seamlessly blend with contemporary exteriors or even contrast beautifully with textured brick or timber facades. While primarily designed for outdoor use, it can also work well as a minimalist feature in covered outdoor spaces or garages. Practical tips include pairing it with other contemporary outdoor fixtures for a cohesive look, and positioning it near doorways or pathways for enhanced security and illumination. Its PIR sensor adds an energy-efficient touch, making it a smart choice for updating outdoor lighting that’s both stylish and functional.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
