Our Biccari collection has a simple but pleasing design and is produced by our skilled craftsmen to the highest standards using responsibly sourced solid wood and veneers. All items are made using a combination of solid hardwood and veneers. The body is carefully hand-finished with an eco-friendly water-base grey lacquer, while the top is hand waxed. This combination gives the product a perfect country look. This is the ideal chest where you have a small space available perhaps in an alcove or behind a door, but requires storage space. The 5 equal size drawers give you plenty of capacity for a very small footprint. The drawers are ideal for underwear, socks, folded clothes and accessories. The top has a 3cm thick solid wood frame, making it extremely sturdy. Added to these features is a simple construction for easy home assembly, making it a great value product to be taken home today.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
