Our Stylist Says
The Biard Le Mans Up or Down Wall Light is a sleek, contemporary piece that works well in modern outdoor settings. I love its minimalist design, which allows it to blend seamlessly with stacked stone, timber fencing, or modern facades. It’s versatile because you can position it to shine either upwards or downwards, adding both function and style to entrance halls, patios, or garden pathways. For best styling, pair it with monochrome or metallic accessories, and ensure it’s installed at a height that maximises light coverage without causing glare. Its lightweight build also makes it easy to fit, making it a practical choice for quick updates to outdoor lighting schemes.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
