Description
This Bhutan pendant light is bringing boho style into your space, skilfully blending natural materials and modern design, with an extremely on-trend ethnic-chic style. Handmade in Vietnam, the lampshade is composed of two cylinders made from woven bamboo stems in a two-tone effect, with natural and black stems. Each item is a real technical challenge, an example of exceptional craftsmanship. The perforated material forms a light and airy volume around the light source. The light filters through the various hessian strips, producing beautiful lighting that plays with light and shadow. GOOD&MOJO brings together eco-responsible lighting, composed exclusively from sustainable and/or recycled materials, such as cork, bamboo, ecological linen, glass and recycled car tyres. GOOD&MOJO is also a collection driven by a social cause: For each light purchased, 5% of the sale price is donated to the Waka Waka foundation. This foundation, based in the Netherlands, distributes solar lamps to people in crisis areas, in close collaboration with humanitarian aid organisations. On top of this, for every lamp purchased, a tree is planted! GOOD&MOJO has also partnered with Eden Reforestation Projects, which is working to plant trees in Nepal, Madagascar, Haiti, Indonesia, Mozambique and Kenu, to restore forests and woodlands and to reduce extreme poverty by creating jobs for local villages.
