Description
The Betley Butterfly oval floor-mounted door stop in gold-coloured brass helps control door movement and protect nearby walls, fittings and furniture from repeated impact. Measuring 45 mm in length and 25 mm in width, it is suitable for repair, replacement and new installation projects in homes, offices, workshops and shared spaces. Check the door travel and choose a secure fixing position before installation. Use suitable tools and fixings for the mounting surface, test the contact point after fitting, and inspect the stop periodically to ensure it remains secure. Keep small parts and fixings away from children.
Our Stylist Says
I love this brass butterfly-shaped door stop for its blend of practical function and subtle elegance. Its gold finish adds a touch of luxe, making it ideal for more sophisticated interiors such as traditional, vintage, or contemporary schemes that incorporate brass or metallic accents. The oval shape and sleek design mean it can be styled alongside other hardware like handles and light fittings for a cohesive look. Practical tips include placing it on lighter flooring materials for added stability, or pairing it with matching brass fixtures to create a polished, curated feel. Its understated style allows it to seamlessly blend into various decor styles, while the striking shape adds a bit of visual interest without overwhelming the space.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
