Description
The Bestlite BL3 M Floor lamp from Gubi is perfect for any reading nook. The lamp arm can be tilted 90 degrees, both horizontally and vertically, and the lamp shade can be rotated 360 degrees. The Bestlite range was designed in the 1930s by Robert Dudley Best, an heir to one of the world’s biggest lamp factories of the time. In his view, the lamps at the time looked outdated. Inspired by the Bauhaus era, he designed a range that enjoys global iconic status today. The Bestlite lamp is found in permanent collections at both the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Design Museum in London. Quite simply, a real design classic.
Our Stylist Says
The Bestlite BL3M floor lamp is a fantastic choice for adding a touch of industrial elegance to a variety of interiors. I love its sleek black and chrome finish, which makes it highly versatile-you can really elevate modern, Scandinavian, or even vintage styles with this piece. It's particularly effective when styled next to a cosy reading nook or as a statement piece in a minimalistic living room. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral textiles and simple furniture to let the lamp’s iconic silhouette stand out. Its adjustable arm also offers functional flexibility, making it excellent for task lighting or creating a layered, layered lighting scheme in a space.
