Making its debut at Salone del Mobile 2015, Bertoia's famous Side Chair has been reissued to celebrate what would have been Harry Bertoia's 100th birthday. The classic 1952 chair has been reimagined in a new plastic model that modernises the familiar Mid-century silhouette. Harry Bertoia is renowned for his versatility, having turned his hand to painting, jewellery and sound sculpture designs. Bertoia's singular furniture collection is recognised worldwide as one of the greatest achievements of 20th century design. The Plastic Side Chair is comprised of a vibrant blue polypropylene seat finished with a a chromium-plated steel rod base. The authorised Bertoia Plastic Side Chairs are produced exclusively by Knoll.
