Hand tufted by craftsmen here in the UK, the delightfully plump design features low recessed rolled arms and deep squishy seats. Smart hand turned wooden legs complete the look. The Bern range includes two seater and three seater sofas, an armchair and an ottoman. Our Bern collection can be upholstered in a choice of 33 distinctive shades and five fabrics to suit your style.

I’m a fan of this herringbone armchair for its smart, textured weave and generous proportions - the muted grey tone is easy to layer into most schemes. Its deep buttoned back and turned oak legs give a nod to traditional styling, while the clean lines keep it feeling fresh. It sits neatly in a Scandi-inspired living room alongside pale timber furniture, but would also lift a modern-classic library or snug. For practical styling, add a contrasting cushion in warm ochre or navy and position it next to a slimline side table with a sculptural lamp. A soft wool throw draped over one arm will not only enhance comfort but tie in any rug or curtains you choose.
