Hand tufted by craftsmen here in the UK, the delightfully plump design features low recessed rolled arms and deep squishy seats. Smart hand turned wooden legs complete the look. The Bern range includes two seater and three seater sofas, an armchair and an ottoman. Our Bern collection can be upholstered in a choice of 33 distinctive shades and five fabrics to suit your style.

I’m a fan of this Bern chair in sand herringbone because its subtle weave lifts a neutral scheme without shouting for attention. It sits equally well in a Scandi-inspired living room, a cosy cottage lounge or a pared-back contemporary flat. To style, anchor it with a low-pile jute or wool rug, drape a contrasting wool throw over one arm and add a velvet cushion in muted green or terracotta for a pop of colour.
