Hand tufted by craftsmen here in the UK, the delightfully plump design features low recessed rolled arms and deep squishy seats. Smart hand turned wooden legs complete the look. The Bern range includes two seater and three seater sofas, an armchair and an ottoman. Our Bern collection can be upholstered in a choice of 33 distinctive shades and five fabrics to suit your style.

I’m a big fan of the Bern chair in cream boucle for its soft texture and supportive shape - it instantly makes a corner feel inviting without overpowering the room. Its neutral tone and classic tufting sit well in Scandi-inspired spaces, modern country kitchens or contemporary lounges, pairing equally with pale oak or rich walnut. For styling, drape a slim wool throw over one arm and add a small lumbar cushion in a contrasting hue or leather for extra depth. Position it beside a slimline side table and statement lamp to create a reading nook, or place two facing each other to frame a coffee table - and don’t forget a sculptural plant pot or low stack of books on the floor to finish the look.
