Description
Modern and stylish, the Berlin Fabric bed offers comfort with its luxury fabric finish, adding a touch of class to the bedroom. The Berlin frame is upholstered in polyester with complementary dark feet and is available in steel, black crushed velvet and grey polyester. This frame has a sprung slatted base with natural bounce, adjusting to where pressure is most exerted to provide greater comfort. The maximum weight load for the 3' frame is 150 kg, all other frames are 200 kg. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress and the recommended maximum mattress height is 250 mm.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of this velvet king-size frame for its sleek, low profile and soft crushed-velvet upholstery - it instantly adds a hint of luxe without feeling over the top. It works particularly well in modern or Scandi-inspired bedrooms, where clean lines and a neutral palette allow the rich texture to stand out, but it can equally elevate a moody, hotel-style scheme when paired with darker walls or jewel-tone cushions. For practical styling, keep your bedding simple - think white or pale grey linens - then layer in texture with a knitted throw or a couple of velvet scatter cushions in contrasting shades. Add slim-lined bedside tables and minimalist lamps in brushed brass or black metal to echo the frame’s legs, and finish with a low-pile rug under the bed to tie the look together.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
