Our Stylist Says

I’m a big fan of the Bergen oak table for its simple, natural finish and sturdy construction. Its clean lines suit Scandi, Japandi and modern farmhouse schemes alike, and the light oak tone works well against both bright and muted wall colours. For styling, try pairing it with a mix of the matching bench and spindle-back chairs to keep the look relaxed. A neutral linen runner or woven placemats, a ceramic jug of fresh flowers or twigs, and a set of stoneware plates will add texture without overwhelming the table’s natural beauty. Finish with a low-pile jute or sisal rug and matte-black or brass pendant lights overhead to ground the space.
