Description

Hand-knotted from 100% New Zealand wool, the soft white hue and abstract black design make the Benjy rugs a contemporary addition to your bedroom or sitting room. Small (VCS1002): L200 x W140cm. Medium (VCS1003): L170 x W240cm. Made of 100% New Zealand wool. Due to the hand-knotted nature of these rugs, the exact colour and size may vary. We recommend vacuuming regularly and professionally dry clean. Exclusive to G&G.

Our Stylist Says

I love this little Benjy rug for its versatility and handcrafted charm. Its understated monochrome palette makes it an easy fit for a range of interiors, from Scandi minimalism to boho eclectic. The small size is perfect for adding texture and colour to a cosy reading nook, bedside area, or even a hallway. Practical styling tips include pairing it with layered textiles or purples for warmth, or placing it under a statement furniture piece to anchor the space. Its hand-knotted nature adds a tactile element that can elevate even simple rooms, making it a smart choice for creating a welcoming and curated look.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
